Trust welcomes Annie and chloe to the income generation team

At Dame Kelly Holmes Trust we’re thrilled to welcome Annie Moody and Chloe Neilson-Hopkins to the Income Generation team, both came on board in September.

Annie, takes on the position of Head of Business Development, and brings with her some fantastic experience, having worked for more than ten years in the sport and youth development sector. During this time, she was responsible for the development of rugby-based enrichment programmes that were fully integrated into schools and is co-founder of The Lewis Moody Foundation supporting those affected by Brain Tumours. Annie is also a trustee of Bravemind, a mental health charity in the rugby community.

Chloe has joined us as Trusts and Grants Manager. Chloe brings with her some excellent charity sector knowledge, having worked as a fundraiser for many years - most recently as Fundraising Manager for 4Sight Vision Support. Over the past nine years Chloe has raised funds for a variety of causes from hospice care to disability and vision impairment, as well as personally taking on all kinds of charity challenges including donning a parrot costume, running in a Santa suit with her vision obscured, and a series of moonlight walks.

Ben Hilton, CEO of the Trust said:

We are delighted to welcome both Annie and Chloe to the team. Our goal over the next ten years is to improve the health and wellbeing of 10,000 young people across the UK who are facing challenges in their everyday lives. In these difficult times, diversifying our income streams, recruiting new partners and increasing funding from foundations will be absolutely crucial to meeting this goal and I know both Annie and Chloe will play a huge part in the success of the Trust.

Annie Moody
Head of Business Development

“I am absolutely delighted to be working for the Dame Kelly Holmes Trust. Having worked in sport and youth development for the past 10 years, I have seen first-hand the benefits of a mentor imparting their skill set to empower young people to be the best version of themselves. It is with the gravity of this knowledge, that I will seek to foster strong relationships with key partners and funders to enable the continuation and growth of the outstanding programmes going forward; something I am both committed to and excited to see achieved.”

Chloe Neilson-Hopkins
Trusts and Grants Manager

“During my time spent volunteering as a brownie leader, I have seen how with support and encouragement, the confidence and self-esteem of young girls can soar, and how empowered they feel as a result.

I am delighted to be taking on the role of Trusts and Grants Manager at the Dame Kelly Holmes Trust, working with the team to secure vital income which enables young people across the country to access athlete mentoring programmes which help them flourish and grow.”
